Carl Thomas Dean, Dolly Parton’s husband, passed away at the age of 82.
After over 60 years of marriage, the 79-year-old country music queen revealed on Monday the passing of her renowned recluse husband.
The Jolene singer announced on Instagram that Carl died on March 3rd in Nashville.
In her sorrowful tribute, Dolly thanked supporters for their prayers and reflected on the „many wonderful years“ the couple shared. She also emphasized her deep love for Carl.
Carl and I had a lot of amazing years together. The love we had for more than 60 years is beyond words. I appreciate your condolences and prayers. It was written by Dolly.
Donnie and Sandra, Carl’s siblings, outlive him. His immediate family will be present at the private ceremony where he will be laid to rest.
